Do you still remember December's foggy freeze?
February's been hella colder than December was.

Though probably one of the lesser-known songs from that album, my favorite from Aqualung was Hymn 43. Most wouldn't agree with me though. :P
It's not bad. It's just that the title track and Locomotive Breath blow it out of the water. <cranks up LB>

Why are people referring to The Eagles as "hard rock" in this thread?

I hear ya. The Eagles are definitely not "hard rock". Country rock, pop-rock, hell... even easy listening at times (yes, I'm looking at you Desperado).

I think it's because they inspired a ton of great guitar players and songwriters that went on to play louder and heavier. Every time I listen to the guitar solos in Hotel California, I am amazed at how lyrical those notes are.

I've always thought Alice Cooper was the best of 70s rock, myself. Love it to Death was definitely my favorite of the original band's albums.

Surprised there was no London Calling by the Clash
Yeah sorry Yoshi, not even remotely hard rock. The Clash were a straight up UK Punk band originally and London Calling had them experimenting with Ska and Reggae due to their relationship with The Specials and the rising Ska scene.

I was glad to see Kiss mentioned and Alive was a good choice.

I'm a term stickler when it comes to that one. Its either Rockabilly, or XXX. (The latter is a newer name, being pushed by Shooter Jennings and various supporters. Other examples I could think of fitting in that description more effectively are Bottle Rockets, Drive By Truckers, Jason and The Scorchers, Old 97's, etc.)

Admittedly, that probably is my favorite type of music. I love to say I'm into every other kind I listen too, but this stuff probably hits closest to home.
