Need tips on old KOEI games

Ghengis Khan, Nobunaga's Ambition, you get the idea.

They are slaying me. I just tried Ghengis Khan for about an hour, game is TOUGH.

Do I start training hard and keeping the people happy, invade, rinse, repeat?


Anybody know any good tips for how to approach these games? Sites that KOEI fans would be hanging around at?

Man, I've been wanting to get back into old Koei games for a while now. Maybe it's time for me to blow the dust off Nobunaga's Ambition (SNES)...
