You and I are probably the only people in the world who also loved Lohan's I Know Who Killed Me to death. That's seriously one of my favorite films of all-time... no joke.
no kidding. That movie is amazing. The colors alone blow my mind. It's like Giallo.

But yeah, Jennifer's Body was great. I honestly found the writing had a really good pace, and the dialogue was actually funny. I loved the relationship between Jennifer and "Needy." The whole concept of the non-virgin being mistaken for virgin because her friend was protecting her honor. Clever, no?

And of course casting Fox as a succubus was awesome. It's funny because it's the only time I've ever found her at all attractive. But more importantly, she did a good job with the role. You could see why her hunting of boys was so effective. But you also totally hated her.
If we ever end up chilling IRL one day, we'll have to watch some 80's slashers, and have a pillow fight in our nighties or something.
done.

@Nintendork666: I actually did watch funny people. That was a strangely-paced movie. For the first half of it, I could not stop laughing. Then the movie got really sad.

Maybe I was sobering up at around the halfway point, but the movie just seemed so sad after a certain point. The conversation involving Ray and Eminem was priceless though.

FUNNY PEOPLE arcs seem to be written by three different people, and I think the majority would agree. It's almost like after 45 minutes of the final cut Apatow aksed someone else to finish the movie.

Still like the movie though. It does a magnificent job of what it is like to brainstorm with other comedians (albeit in a plush environment), and boy does it showcase some incredible actors.

I actually did not know that different people added to the movie, that does explain the sudden change-up.

Reminds me of Four Rooms, which had different directors doing each of the 4 rooms that the movie takes place in.

Ah. Big boost for Quentin as far as visibility goes/went. Not a great movie (Madonna is in it no?) but worth a watch for sure.

I always liked Four Rooms a lot. Definitely Tarantino's and Rodriguez's rooms were the best, but totally an amusing movie all the way through. Tim Roth rules.

ig

I can't believe I forgot about Rodriguez's "room", good call indeed.

Love Tim Roth too, as long as he isn't directing. Love the guy as an actor, not so much as a director. Speaking of, wonder if he'll make a cameo in THE AVENGERS (I'm taking bets).

I liked Jennifer's body. I don't think it was as good as it could have been, a classic case of good concept and not so good execution, but it wasn't nearly as bad as I'd heard it was going to be. All the horrible comments when it came out sort of turned me off to seeing it in the theatre, but if I had I don't think I would have regretted it. The DVD now sits proudly on my shelf with the rest of my horror collection.....Oh, and I got the movie poster from a little theatre that was down the street from my college. The one where she's sitting in front of the chalkboard. Considering it's the only horror movie poster I have, it's not a bad one to have overall.
