Video: Street Fighter 2 Turbo Review for SNES

It was a strong start and I'm sure will only get better as you do more. In the meantime, here are my silly opinions.

Praise:
* Smooth intro & outro. I especially like the 'title card' which reminded me of old "Doogie Houser" episodes.
* The content was pretty interesting & informative.
* Switching to a clear video source during gameplay is always good. I'm glad you did that.

Critiques:
* Relaaaaax. This got better during the gameplay section, but sounded like you were a bit rushed and trying to read your review quickly to make it fit the time IMO.
* Seems like it needs an outro tune as well to me.
* I thought the audio/miking was much better during the intro than gameplay section FWIW.

Thanks for the response! Digging the idea of an outro tune.
And yeah, I'm notorious for speaking fast. People always say I do, one thing to keep in mind for the future.
Also the audio was shitty during the gameplay because I was using a fairly old computer mic, which will probably be updated soonish.

Ironically, I find the animation the only thing in the game that did not age well, other than the weird sounding grunting noises the characters make when they get hit.

It's choppy in comparison to games like Donkey Kong Country and Earthwarm Jim.

Just saw your review. Not bad for your first attempt. There are few issues though that could be looked into for future reviews.

First off WHAT THE HELL was all that flash that was going on during the gameplay footage. It certainly wasn't the game doing this. It really made it very difficult to keep watching :/
Second, can you perhaps slow your dialogue a bit. It just felt a bit too rushed.

Other than that not bad.

Thanks, and I have no idea what was causing the flashes. Seem to have something to do with my DVD recorder.
