So I wonder if it's based on MGS3 or MGS3 Subsistence, because the original MG3 played like shit until Subsistence came out and fixed its problemsbrunoafh wrote:Snake Eater 3D is out??? I might actually pick a unit up just to play through it, but I dunno. There's almost nothing for the system that appeals to me, and it being region locked is a big deal breaker for me.

The demo is out. The game comes out this Tuesday Feb. 22nd. I just went to pick up a Circle Pad Pro but Gamestop was out. I saw a sealed Tales of the Abyss sitting on the counter and bought it before they could open it up and put the case out. So far I have stuck to my rule of buying all new games there still sealed. I mostly just use them for pre order bonuses.

Heh, to be honest the gameplay (control-wise) still kind of sucks in Subsistence, but it's not quite as irritating. Controls have always been weird in MGS. I'd like to hear more info on the 3DS remake myself though. Probably gonna check out some reviews in a bit.Gamerforlife wrote:So I wonder if it's based on MGS3 or MGS3 Subsistence, because the original MG3 played like shit until Subsistence came out and fixed its problems

I played through the demo, and it seems that playing the game will largely benefit from using the dual-analog pad. Otherwise, your controlling the camera with ABXY, and it just feels... clunky.

Just picked up Mario's Cross on the Virtual Console. So good. I can really see myself using the gameboy virtual console a lot.

No, don't! Get the original carts and a Super Game Boy, that way you have color.
Re: Nintendo 3DS
This. Or alternatively, a Game Boy. I tried the Super Mario Land on VC, only to find myself liking it better on the Game Boy. Although it was dirt cheap... I think I only payed $3 for it, which is about the shipping cost of buying an actual copy.GameMasterGuy wrote:No, don't! Get the original carts and a Super Game Boy, that way you have color.

I have to agree. I really don't mind black and white. It doesn't really bother me.
