This game doesn't have Charles Barkley, a huge negative compared to the first (then again, a lot of the original cartridges don't have him either). To make amends, Iguana added updated rosters, roster swaps, injuries, NBA rookies, and even more unlockables. Having Grant Hill toss an alley-oop to Larry Bird in a Detroit Pistons uniform was amazing. DJ Jazzy Jeff, the Fresh Prince, and the Big Hurt also lurk on the cartridge. This game is fun, addictive fun.

Konami was the shit back then, even more so than Capcom. Don't get me wrong, Capcom made some awesome games in the 16-bit era, but half of them were Street Fighter II rehashes. Greedy bastards. Konami just had a larger output of awesome, original software and licensed games

Capcom was king of Disney games on the NES, but they had competition on the Genesis from Sega and Virgin Interactive during the 16-bit era. I think the Genesis outshone the SNES a bit when it came to Disney games (particularly when it dame to Mickey Mouse games like Castle of Illusion and Mickey Mania), but Capcom was still pumping out impressive stuff on par with their quality, NES era Disney titles.

The SNES version of Aladdin never got quite as much acclaim as the amazing Genesis version (one of the few instances where a Genesis game's graphics blew away its SNES competition), but it was still a very good platform game with the high level of quality many Capcom games had back then. It was even truer to the movie in some ways than the Genesis version and had awesome moments like these:
