Mine does, only problem is, I'm the only person who has ever taken them Master System games. haha From what I hear they always end up putting them on ebay since nobody around here buys them. They have a few Dreamcast games that have been sitting there forever, they've gotten about 3 sega cd games in the past 5 years, no Commodore stuff that I've seen, no Atari, and I've seen maybe 3 Saturn games ever. One of which was Panzer Dragoon Saga which they sold on ebay. I don't understand why but there isn't a sticker that says Sony on the bottom. If anything, I purchased my ps3 slim new January of last year and had sync problems, disc errors, and now av problems.Flake wrote:Real quick, look on the bottom of your PS3. Is there a silver or black label on the bottom that says "SONY" in all capital letters?swiftzx wrote:: I got DOA:Dimensions in the mail today! It's a really fun fighter.
: My ps3 av cable stopped working, at least I think is the cable. There is no video, just sound
Another Playstation that isn't working
So called good hardware...

You have that exactly right.alienjesus wrote:Yeah, you definitely would, some of those prices are very high. On the other hand, you got some cool stuff you wanted, so everyones happy right?CFFJR wrote:

I'd probably get people busting my balls over the price or something. Better to just post it here and say I'm very happy about it.
Plus, I'm pretty sure that Pops paid less overall than I would have had to if I bought them on ebay and had them shipped over here. Some of them, like Ninja Gaiden, get pricey.
Speaking of which, Ninja Gaiden is awesome.

There used to be a retro store in Brighton where I went to uni that didn't take Nintendo games. They had shelves of Master System, Mega Drive & Dreamcast (not so much Saturn), but they only had a few NES, SNES and N64 titles because they said they just couldn't get them to sellharper wrote:Mine does, only problem is, I'm the only person who has ever taken them Master System games. haha From what I hear they always end up putting them on ebay since nobody around here buys them. As weird as that is, I'd love to visit that store. Sounds like my personal gaming heaven.alienjesus wrote: There used to be a retro store in Brighton where I went to uni that didn't take Nintendo games. Good to hear, thats one which I don't have myself yet. I heard it's meant to be way easier than the NES one.CFFJR wrote:

Let me know how Deep Duck Trouble is. That one is pretty rare and can get pricey. Probably the best deal you got there.
I have 4 of those 9 games. You should enjoy Asterix, Sonic 1 and Lucky Dime Caper, they're pretty good. Sonic 2 isnt bad either, but not as good as 1 imo.
Also, that store shut down in the end. I blame it on their customer service. You should have seen the guys face when I asked him to open up a glass cabinet so I could look through the Game Boy games (which were arranged so you could only see the front game in each row). I got a copy of F Zero GX from him for £4 and only went back again once or twice. Then it shut down.

There are game stores up my way that carry all these games but most the time you only see the commons there is a new retro chain up my way that has some of the high end saturn stuff like saga and burning rangers but there prices on those are above ebay most of the games in the store came from a game store at the local flea market where they didn't sell they also have repro carts they are selling as genuine like zelda outlands for 250.

Re: What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?
I haven't played the first Sonic but I grew up playing Sonic 2 on my Game Gear and I like it. I have Sonic 2 for the master system in my sale thread but nobody's biting so I might just keep it and the PBC.
Everytime I say Master System I think of how the name is actually Sega System and wonder if anyone is thinking I'm dumb for calling it Master System. haha Oh well, that's what it's known as and everyone else calls it that so I just go with it. I know if someone was talking about it, referring to it as the "Sega System" I'd probably be thinking "which one?" haha

Shame about that store. I bet you're right about the reason for it closing though. If I get attitude like that at a game store, I don't go back. If they're not happy to see you buying their 20 year old stock, then why bother?alienjesus wrote:

Anyway, Ninja Gaiden is definitely easier. It still has some of habits of the nes version though, like enemies that come flying at you at top speed from off screen, with no way to predict them unless you already knew. It doesn't happen nearly as often though, and the game moves at a much faster pace, which is quite fun.
I'm looking forward to getting through them all. Last night I played a bit of Sonic 1 and NG, and I finished (and loved) Streets of Rage, but I'll take a crack at the others today. I'll definitely get back to you on Deep Duck Trouble.
