Gorgeous looking games.
Yeah the games are in great shape. I'm really impressed with them.

It's awfully tough being a Master System collector in the States. For once, PAL regions didn't get the short end of the stick, and got most of the best games for the system.ninjainspandex wrote:im jealous ive decided against getting a power base converter due to the fact that master system games are near impossible to find in the wild in the states

Yeah, you definitely would, some of those prices are very high. On the other hand, you got some cool stuff you wanted, so everyones happy right?CFFJR wrote:

I'd probably get people busting my balls over the price or something. Better to just post it here and say I'm very happy about it.

Yeah.... I have both a power base converter and Master System that collect dust. I think later this year I'll splurge and make a big online purchase of SMS games. I want at least 10 or so, Phantasy Star and a few others.ninjainspandex wrote:im jealous ive decided against getting a power base converter due to the fact that master system games are near impossible to find in the wild in the states

I found all but 5 of my sms games in the wild I bought the system in a cardboard box with 32 games for 5.00 at a yard sale then picked up another 30 complete games at a flea market which was from 2 different vendors on the same day so they can be found just not very often

The annoying thing is, local video game stores won't even buy Master System, 3DO, Saturn, Dreamcast, Neo Geo, Sega CD, Commodore 64, Atari 2600, or any other games from "obscure" systems because they don't believe they can sell them to consumers.

Dreamcast? Really? I can understand the other systems, but Dreamcast seems pretty well-known.BoneSnapDeez wrote:The annoying thing is, local video game stores won't even buy Master System, 3DO, Saturn, Dreamcast, Neo Geo, Sega CD, Commodore 64, Atari 2600, or any other games from "obscure" systems because they don't believe they can sell them to consumers.

Yup, even Dreamcast.
It's unfortunate, but it seems like independent game stores here are trying to adopt the GameStop model, trying to mostly carry the "popular" games and whatnot.
