So I finally got my Sega Gen CIB

For those who didn't know I've been looking for a sega Genesis CIB (Version 1) I finally got one. Only $50 and it came with everything plus a game.

It was the blue core system box.

Now once this comes I'm heading the my local gamestore to pick up a crapload of games. They have a lot of CIB games and I even saw systems for the first time there, like the Sega CD, TurboGrafx-16, Atari Jaguar and a Sega Saturn.

i saw the lion king bundle recently at the goodwill for $24 but i passed

Speaking of goodwill I went there too in search for a CIB Gen but they didn't have ANY game stuff, just some V-Smile games.

I believe it was around $30 but they had no other games or accessories, just a controller. Next time I go there I'm going to ask if they have a Turbo CD and then I'll be in Castlevania Dracula X heaven.

I've found that if you go to the back and ask one of the employees working there if they have any games, they'll often times pull out a ton of them. It never hurts to ask and I've got some great bargains in the past.

Yea maybe next time I'll try that.

I'm also wondering how much money I saved since you are all saying how great of a find this is. Anyone have an estimate as to how much one usualy goes for?

I tried talking ot the people in the back...they said they don't have anything.....like 5 different times too. People just don't play video games round here and then give them away I guess <.<
