I would've thought, at this point, they'd wait until the Wii U was released before dropping Gamecube. Oh well, I better get Eternal Darkness and Sonic Gems while I still can.Michi wrote:Aaaaaand....I was just told today that as of April 1st Gamestop will no longer be taking in Gamecube games. I sort of figured this was coming, but I'd hoped it wouldn't be so soon. Ah well, I guess it's time to try to pick up the rest of my "Want" list while I still can. Thankfully, I don't have that much left on it.

I figured the same, but at least they'll have good deals like when they dropped Gba and oXbox. Looks like I'll finally get Twilight Princess.BurningDoom wrote:I would've thought, at this point, they'd wait until the Wii U was released before dropping Gamecube. I hope my Gamestop gets some trade-ins before April 1st. My Gamestop's current GCN selection is anemic. Most of the good stuff got cleared out in that sale several weeks back.SwooshBear wrote:I figured the same, but at least they'll have good deals like when they dropped Gba and oXbox. Same here. All my local ones have a terrible selection. I'm just looking forward to a price drop on that Twilight Princess. I hope I don't miss all the sales like I did for gbaBoringSupreez wrote:I hope my Gamestop gets some trade-ins before April 1st. My Gamestop's current GCN selection is anemic. That was my first thought tooGSZX1337 wrote:Worst April Fool's Day ever.
Pretty sure that's the only reason the guy even told me about it. I bought 1 Gamecube game and his entire little speech went like, "...April 1st. So if you've got anything you don't want anymore, be sure to bring them in.BoringSupreez wrote:I hope my Gamestop gets some trade-ins before April 1st.
I went on a spurge before they stopped taking in the GBA games. I'm glad I did too, because, even though I had to pay a bit more, by the time they got around to more price drops everything was pretty much picked clean.SwooshBear wrote:All my local ones have a terrible selection.
