Yeah, I did. First time I have, too. Turned out it was a lot easier for me to get past than Mario's Hideout was on DK Junior.

Just an opinion, but I feel like it would be good to extend the time frame of these competitions to allow more people to participate*. For a lot of arcade games, one week is a really limited amount of time to get into what could potentially be a whole new game. I guess what I'm trying to say is that the time frame could be intimidating.


*And give me more time to beat YoshiEgg's high score.

And as for the idea of lengthening it, I will probably rotate games in, so Donkey Kong will be another game in the future. How far in the future? Who knows.

Just found this thread - awesome idea, Yosh. Like that you'll rotate in the same game, otherwise I'd consider doing two week intervals.
