Just finished this one tonight. It bored me at first because of the laborious movement speed, but once you get to the caves and beyond, it takes a whole new form. I recommend playing before bed and with all the lights off, the immersion will take you to another planet.RyaNtheSlayA wrote:I just finished Dear Esther. It only took 82 minutes, and isn't even really a game by any standards, but holy moly was it worth the 10 dollars. I haven't felt that compelled by game writing in quite a long time. It left me contemplation, with a bit of sadness thrown in. It left me in awe.
What are you playing?

I started Star Fox Assault today and it's pretty good. Not sure if I like the land/tank levels but the first level was really fun. Brought back some good times playing the demo back in the day. It aint got nothin on 64 tho

Yeah, but that could be said of the entire series (except 64 itself, of course.)SwooshBear wrote:I started Star Fox Assault today and it's pretty good. True. I didn't expect it to be better than 64, since that's kinda common sense and 64 is just amazing. Probably my favorite 64 game, and I dislike the system itself.BoringSupreez wrote:Yeah, but that could be said of the entire series (except 64 itself, of course.)SwooshBear wrote:I started Star Fox Assault today and it's pretty good. Playing good old warhammer 40k now. Chaos is strong. Grant us the power of the Dark gods

Which Warhammer? Space Hulk for the Saturn?Lima wrote:Playing good old warhammer 40k now. Chaos is strong. Grant us the power of the Dark gods
Let strength be granted, so the world might be mended...so the world might be mended.

F-Zero Maximum Velocity (GBA)
If F-Zero 2 ever came out on the SNES, this is how I envisioned it would be. Little tougher to control the cars, but there's so much to UNLOCK! I'm liking how it saves 3 files and all your top times too!

Still working through Xenoblade Chronicles, and I think I will be for some time, but I've also started Grim Fandango. Experiencing some crashing, but I think I've found a patch that should fix that.
Planning on streaming and beating Lostwinds: Winter of the Melodias tonight too.

Still on a Sega CD kick. Almost had a perfect run in Sonic CD, but lost a life in the second stage of Metallic Madness.
After completing Sonic, I've moved on to Ecco The Dolphin, with Tides of Time next on my to do list.
