I've played a few of the games, and they're awesome! Giant fighting robots beating the shit outta each other? EPIC WIN!

Too bad the American games have original mechs.

But there's translated versions of some of the original Japanese games, one of which I have (it's a PSX game that I play on my modded PS1 (thanks again, wclem)).

I don't know how I forgot about ACE, considering my avatar is from it.

More specifically, don't have her attack anyone (especially Wolf) in stage 7 or 8, and don't attack Eran with her in stage 15. Do that and chose to go south when asked and you'll be good. Thankfully the scenario chart for Masou II isn't nearly as convoluted as it is in Masou I.

Also good choice with the Yan Long route, has the coolest route-specific recruits and the best final scenarios.
I will keep that in mind. I am not a really big fan of Precia, so I don't think I could stomach an entire route dedicated to her.

I noticed in MKI when Mio her ATATATATATATATA attack, she never ended it with "You are already dead....not!" Does this change in the sequel?

There should be four fan-translated ones.

The very first one for Game Boy, SRW3 for SNES, Alpha Gaiden for PS1, and SRW J for GBA.

Alpha Gaiden is very, very good! Playing on hard mode was a nightmare near the end though!

No, I don't believe she ever says "omae wa mo shindeiru", even after you upgrade the attack and it gets a new animation. You still playing the game btw?

Yeah. Very slowly. I'm just about done with Chapter 8. Planning on playing it a ton this weekend.

I am very disappointed by this. It was my favorite reason to use Mio in Alpha Gaiden, along with her Mahora Blade.

Super psyched about SRW Z-II: Saisei-Hen coming out! I've been pretty lax on my anime watching the last couple of years so recently I've been marathoning all the shows that are in Z & Z-II in an attempt to be all caught up by the release of Saisei-Hen. I don't think I'm even going to come close though :(
