I am new here, and after reading many forums and visiting the site for some time, I have now decided to join the racketboy community *bows*. I enjoy the greater maturity of the members on this site.

As for the arcades that I would get if I had the money and space, I would get:

Battletoads arcade
One of my most favorites acrade games of all time. Too bad I cannot find it anywhere :(

Metal Slug
Spent many hours and quaters on this game at the local bowling alley as a kid...To bad it is no longer there anymore.

Tapper
Used to play that game with my dad as a kid when I would join him after school at the local bar. (He would sometimes pick me up when school was over and I would join him with his cooworkers and friends) good times.

Wow, you really have thought about this! I have always loved detailed setups and seeing the pods MW players get done is simply wonderful. I really hope you get them done one day :D

I know Lost Ark in Greensboro picked up a fix-r-upper recently so I'm hoping I can get some games on her as soon as it gets repaired.
Haha, I went to youtube, the transformation sequence is amazingly cool!

I'm surprised so many people mention Space Harrier. It's an amazing game but I kind of expected people to think it's not overly replayable. It's a shame that it doesn't share hardware with any other game, it would make having an upright version much more viable.

Playing on a sit-down is one of my gaming dreams so it's hard for me to say this!

D&D Tower of Doom
Star Trek pinball (where they teleport on the backlit screen :D )
Super Street Fighter 2, 8 way tournament setup
Sega Rally 2, twin cab

I'm stuck on the light gun game though :? There are too many to choose from!

for me it would be wrestlefest and some classics like a classic arcade cab that i saw which had ms pac man, bust a move, galaga, and i think popeye. I use to spend all the time on that at the arcades. And maybe world series baseball from sega. One pinball machine is a must. That should be in all about 2000.00 if I owned a garage or a studio floor.

Since cabs take so much space and it takes so much effort to clean and repair electronics from 30 years ago I don't think it would make much sense to get cabs for games that don't have an amazing replay value. Sure, Marble Madness is great but very short and sooner or later I would get bored of it.

This is key right here. As much as someone would say they want a TMNT cab, once you can play through it with unlimited quarters it gets old fast.

Right now I just have my multicade that I built with 60 "classic" games like Pac Man, Burgertime, Donkey Kong, etc. There is a lot of replay with those because it's not simply pump more quarters in to continue. I used to have a Street Fighter 2 machine and that got a lot of play more play when other people were over. The only thing was no one wanted to play me anymore because of all the practice time I was getting.
