I heard somewhere that Beetlejuice is also gonna be a Broadway musical.

Not sure if it will be on Broadway, but Beetlejuice musicals have been out for at least a decade.

The Good: After over two years of talks, a live action TMNT movie is in the works.

The Bad: Two words. Micheal Bay.
You know who would make a killer TMNT movie? Tsui Hark.

Uwe Boll?

Back to topic:
Tonight I watched Gnomeo & Juliet with the girlfriend.
Corny, but cute. The English Lit major in me enjoyed the alt take on a classic story, as well as the abundance of British actors and Shakespeare references..

I watched Drive tonight and loved it. I loved the contrast of it being so brutal at times but a much more subtle and relaxed take on an action flick. There was a lot of emotion in the movie and I really suggest it.

I just finished watching Fargo. A very excellent movie, I thought all the acting was very well done. For some reason my parents hate it, which is why I've never seen it until now.

Get ready for TWO HEADED SHARK ATTACK

I guess with the success of Sharktapus, this was inevitable.

Watched In Time and King Fu Panda 2.

In Time was a decent movie. Great concept, but I thought the dialogue was horrible. Metaphors are great, but when EVERYONE uses them in just about EVERY conversation that happens, it gets old.
Cilian Murphys outfit reminded me of the antagonist from Grandma's Boy.
And I had a hard time believing the ending
When both of them are walking up to the HUGE bank with intentions of robbing it
All of that made Kung Fu Panda 2 better. Lighthearted and funny. I was surprised Gary Oldman played the antagonist.

I knew a girl who literally couldn't watch R-rated movies until she moves out of her parents house (she was 18 the last time I talked to her) solely because of the woodchopper scene in Fargo.

They were also highly Christian and carried the resulting crazy, but damn.

If you've never lived in the North or Mid-West, a lot of the nuances and references are lost. But yeah, no reason to hate FARGO.
