Best $50 I ever spent.

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Best $50 I ever spent.

Post by pompeyparsons »

Well when Racketboy had his interview in Retro Gamer magazine I tried to track down a copy and finally was able to through a Target of all places, in any case the subscription fee was a little too steep for me with the publication coming from the U.K. but there was an alternative and it is the best $50 I ever spent.

Through the Retro Gamer website I ordered the Retro Gamer eMag which has the first 30 issues of the magazine and it is absolutely fantastic. The content in these magazines is unreal. It's very easy to navigate, there's even a great search feature, and I'm finding it very easy to read. Not sure how well I would like reading a magazine over the computer but I love it. They had a great feature about the Fall of the Sega Empire, plus tons more.

Simply some wonderful articles to read and if you break it down cost wise it's just $1.67 per issue.

Well my shilling is over, I'm just wondering if anyone else has ordered this or is currently enjoying it?

Defo worth checking out. I was a subscriber when I was in the UK and it is an axcellent mag. I also own a copy of the Vol 1 eMag (covers issues 1-30) as I sold all my back issues before I moved over here. Looking forward to Vol 2 (30-60) :D

PS. They have a very active forum which I am a member of. Link to mag site and forum is:
