Fixed that for you

So, looking at the games more and more, I'm starting to get really pumped for the Vita.

Which is strange since my initial reaction was a resounding "meh".

In a discovery of the disappointing kind, PS Vita gamers with purchased PS1/PSP content online have found that the Vita and PSP are classified under the same activation count.

If you own any amount of PSP's and have game shared up to the limit (5 consoles, 2 for newer games) then anything you choose to download to the PS Vita will be denied due to the activation limit being reached.
Is this really all that surprising?
Is it possible to at least deactivate certain devices in case one breaks or is lost/stolen?

Yup. I also believe you can deactivate all devices as well from the PSN website or any device.

I believe it is only 1 time every 6 months though, just FYI.

So, has anything made an even remotely good use out of the back touch panel yet?

I thought the measure distance by touching in Hot Shots sounded like a good use of it.

I've been waiting to see how the back touch panel will work with games. One thing on the Vita I'm not a fan of, but it has potential I suppose.

I'm calling it right now; there will be an eroge where you can use the back touch panel to grope women's butts.
