That shootout was definitely a stand out in the film but my favorite scene is the Warehouse scene. From the beginning with the motorbikes to the betrayal that Tony has to commit and when Inspector Tequila comes flying in taking everyone out is just fantastic. Just great stuff though from beginning to end.

I'm trying to watch several of the Coen Brother's movies, since I enjoyed The Big Lebowski so much. Anyway, I found this one quite funny. Normally, I don't like "baby" comedies, but this one was actually done right. I loved the "Lone Rider of the Apocalypse."

A little bit of movie news that has me really excited:

There is a new BEETLEJUICE movie in the works, scheduled for 2015. Keaton will be back as the ghost with the most, but no word if Ryder will be involved (I have mixed feelings on Ryder being in the sequel).

If anyone here hasn't seen BEETLEJUICE, get ready for a treat. It hasn't aged a smidgen, and although I've heard them dozens of times, some lines still make me laugh out loud.

I saw The Woman in Black the other day, because my girlfriend really wanted to see it. I wasn't too keen, as I find horror movies a bit boring in general. Anyway, I was incredibly surprised to find that it actually genuinely scary. It relied a lot on basic scares to make you jump, but the pacing was what set you on edge. Every jump seemed to come when you weren't quite expecting it, even though you knew it was coming, and watching the film felt kind of like someone was winding a crank that was getting more and more taut and stretched, before releasing it very suddenly and repeating. I honestly have no idea how the film managed to get a 12A rating, as it was far worse than most 18 rated horrors imo. I came out of the cinema feeling really tense and stressed after having watched it, and whether thats a good thing or not is up to your own opinions

OSS 117: Cairo, Nest of Spies.

I'd never heard of the OSS 117 character, apparently there are like 100 books and several older movies based on him. I saw one of the two newer ones, which are comedies and I think they changed up the character a lot and I think this one is considered a spoof of the genre, and it's previous incarnations. It's also a Fronch movie, and while I can't stand the french language (it grates my ears), I found this movie to be really funny. It's sort of a Clouseau type character, only more dashing, like it was merged with Sean Connery's Bond. It's like a Zucker film only not as goofy and zany and doesn't rely on sight gags or background gags. Not that I'm decrying Zucker films, but you get the idea.

But it doesn't make it look as funny as it really was.
