I thought it looked like a 80s toy spaceship, but my old man quickly corrected me. He told me it was a projector used for training Machine Gunners in WW2. I didnt believe him, but I did some research and found out that it is a Konica Type 89 Rokuoh-Sha and it was used in the War to train Japanese soldiers - ofcourse, he was right. The dome would hold a stopwatch and it would both project footage and record it. The playback would show the stopwatch and would let the trainer show the trainee how they did and what to do to correct it.
It is not a video game, but it is a quasi one. It is also a unique piece of Film and Military history. I just thought it was too cool not to share.
