Now if Shat and the Hoff had a rivalry, that's where things get dicey. Want a total cluster? Throw-in Danza.

Update on GBA:
Still languishing away in San Bernardino as of 11PM last night.
Emailed the seller about an hour ago, got a reply *30* minutes later! He says he is also monitoring it and apologized for the inconvenience. It may suck, but fortunately I'm pretty patient and he has been excellent with communication so far. One day the mail system might move it again

Smiled - may have just landed a parttime gig doing foley.
Ticked - got written up for not responding to an email in time when I was on vacation with my out of office up, from my immediate boss.
Smiled - have a meeting with HR about it this afternoon.

There are a few guys / gals who do this, yeah - it really is annoying, especially if it is left wide open / no reply. So you give benefit of the doubt and assume they want it as they asked about it - meanwhile you tell other people that someone else inquired first...cookie monster wrote:yeah i guess but it is happening on here to me as well it would be nice if they took the 2 seconds outta there busy life to reply with a thanks i found it already

My rule of thumb is 1-day to reply, unless I know you well enough - then it is back up for grabs and a mental note that you are not the best trader to work with.
I've got (3) of these going on right now, inquired about gamez, replied to their question...then nothing. Sometimes I suppose it's an honest thing and they just forgot to reply, but often it's just poor etiquette. Also, take note if they opened your reply PM, if they did and they have not replied back, just pm them again, "Hey there - did you want it or not? Please let me know either way as i'm being respectful and awaiting your reply, meanwhile other people are inquiring." Based up on their reply to that question, or lack of, one can always make a note in the feedback thread to alert the upstanding members of the b/s/t.

My boss spoke to me about not returning an email quickly enough. I said, "Sorry I didn't have time to respond. I've been working."fastbilly1 wrote:Smiled - may have just landed a parttime gig doing foley.

Re: What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?
Ticked: It's V-Day and I have to work. My wife is at home waiting for me (aww). Ok, so maybe that party isn't ticked.
Ticked bonus: I missed out on a CIB import Gunbird 2 at a local shop. It had been sitting on the shelf in the store for probably 6 months. I finally decided to buy it, only $22. So I called them up yesterday. It was in the system but the guy couldn't find the disc or the case anymore. He said he would look for it. I went up to the shop and traded in a few things. We turned the store upside down looking for it. Then I noticed that several other unique Dreamcast games were missing from the shelf that, like Gunbird 2, had also been sitting for 6 months or longer. Apparently the store has a theft problem with one of their employees. He will probably be canned after this, but I still have no Gunbird 2.

This sort of behavior really irks me. It's really common on Craiglist. I mean, it doesn't hurt to send a quick reply to state that you're not interested. I have taken the philosophy that the first person to pay me the money gets it.mjmjr25 wrote: There are a few guys / gals who do this, yeah - it really is annoying, especially if it is left wide open / no reply.
