Jailbreaking my PSP to play Einhänder was one of the best decisions I've ever made. Pretty much solidifies my opinion that it is an amazing piece of hardware and a great investment.

For those who frequent the site, what do you think of the new look at nintendolife.com? I really like it, it looked too cramped with all the tabs at the top.

Yeah, the tab organisation is much nicer. I'm not sure what I think about the new title font for the articles though.

Those things last forever don't they?

It's probably the one gripe I'll really have with the PSVita once I have it.

I mean, I had no issues with the original PSP's 5-6 hours, but from everything I've read the Vita rarely pushes above 5.

Luckily Sony is coming out with a battery pack.

It's not like the 3DS fairs much better though. Meh.

FRESH MARKET is selling two dozen roses for only $30, plus free wrapping.

I was able to get the last two dozen red roses left at my local store, and they look brilliant. You can't beat that price unless you dumpster dive near a funeral home.

Speaking of Valentine's... my wife wanted her "stuff" (roses, flowers, whatever) at 5:15 this morning! I was like "uhhh..... usually people celebrate this thing at night." And she goes "you haven't bought me anything yet have you?!"

Does anyone else enjoy the simple pleasure of letting a video game run its splash screen behind them as they peruse this forum? There's something almost soothing about it, like if one were back in the arcade, enjoying the sounds of numerous machines running their demos.

I thought I was the only person who did this. When I am home, I have my MAME computer in the background always running some NEO GEO rom because i love the little Neo Geo 330 MEGA jingle. If not that, then it'll be Street Fighter II or Robocop or something. It so takes me back to when I was a kid in arcades wishing I had enough quarters to play the damn game instead of watching the demo. Funny how that works. Now that I have the means to play it without limit, I let the demo run instead.
