I really like my Gameboy Micro I picked up at a local Gamestop a couple years ago. Since then its faceplate has gotten pretty scratched up. I have looked all over the internet and have had no luck tracking down, any new faceplates, or third party reproductions. Does anyone know how to fabricate any type of faceplate that may work? Better yet does anyone know where I could get my hands on a faceplate? I have already checked all of my local stores and they have got none.
Thanks,
Calvin from ChooChooBot.com

Re: Gameboy Micro faceplates?
I have been waiting for this thread for years
.
Call Nintendo and they will probably have them. They are not listed on the store web site, but when I called a while back (maybe two years) I found that they had a bunch. Not a great selection. You're probably looking at the flame, blue lightning, camo, and flower. No black and no silver. Like I said, it's been a couple years, but I highly doubt many others have figured this out.
If you're desperate and cannot get them from Nintendo I think I have a new camo and a used (probably scratched) flame, but I'd rather not go through the selling process.

You missed it by literally a week. I had two and got rid of them for the price of shipping and bubble mailer. I didnt need them because the Micro I have barely gets used and i have 4 brand new 20th anniversary Micros that are sealed, might as well given the faceplate to someone who needs em.

I called Nintendo last August. The only micro thing related they still sell is the key that you insert to pop out the faceplate. Bummer...

The one you sold me is the first one I've literally seen in monthsIf over 2 million micros have been sold according to Wikipedia, shouldn't faceplates be easier to find?
Only in the US they had the standard release with two other faceplates. The 20th anniversary US release, all Euro releases, and all JP releases have only one - the one on the unit. Not as many out there as you think... But sucks either way. Actually I don't know what the US 20th anni realease has inside as I have the JP release, I assume just the one.

Yeah, that site looks really shady. Thanks for the link though!
