I just got my first 1cc!

I'm kind of happy, but I know it's not a huge accomplishment after I explain.

Just got 693,418,203 with Rosa in DeathSmiles II X on 360. I played all stages as level 1, settings were default. The bullet patterns were so easy I could've dodged them with my eyes closed. I guess I could go back and try to beat it on level 2 or level 3. At least I can say I actually have a 1CC now!

From one shmup fan to another, congratulations! It's not easy to do anywhere! It requires time, reflexes, and a good sense of memorization. And it was a CAVE game, so that gets a bit more respect

Nice. I haven't played DS II yet, but i'm to the final boss on Deathsmiles (first one), that is playing 2 levels on 1, 2 levels on 2, and 2 levels on 3, then the last stage. A 1cc is not far off.

I did 1cc Vanguard last night But then it just loops right back round and 2x the speed.

I dig Deathsmiles so much its very fun and can cater to all levels from Newb to Shogun Master.

Awesome job on the 1cc,I need to set that goal for myself one of these days.Right now im breaking in to shooters so I play a bunch of different ones till I find one Im good at then I can attempt a 1cc.

Grats dude! Deathsmiles IIX is a great game. If you enjoy it enough to persist after the 1cc, maybe we could get a high score thread goin! The scoring in that game is pretty damn fun.

I still prefer the first Deathsmiles, although IIX has that hilarious frankenstein type boss who makes really funny noises. If I play through on level 2 (normal) including the bonus stage I think I'll start a high score thread if I do well enough.

The original does seem more well put together, but I enjoy both. II X gets too much hate for the 3D graphics which actually look pretty nice.
