Hey guys, I was wondering what I could do in this situation. I purchased this SCART to Component converter and when I hook it to my HDTV it says that it is "not supported". I have a Dynex 22 inch HDTV and I'm trying to use the converter with my Sega Saturn.
Am I shit out of luck? Is there something else I have to buy to make it work? What do i do?

Its the tv.
Not all hdtvs can support the low resolutions from old consoles through their component inputs.
There's no hard data out there as far as I know for which tvs will work and which ones won't, but its pretty much luck of the draw. There's no way to force it with your current tv.
The best thing you can do is try another tv, especially if you can try an old crt with component inputs.
