Yes... with 5 separate install sequences. It could be very possible to port this game to the 360 on multiple discs, perhaps beneficial considering that its faster disc drives could kill some of the load times that the game suffers from. It's unfeasible because it's the first system seller sony has and they won't want to let it go.Bootaaay wrote:I don't see how anyone could percieve this as a dig towards other consoles - to me it seemed like a dig towards all the idiots who kept making up/reporting "MGS4 for the 360" rumours on their crappy blogs & sites to drum up traffic, despite Kojipro stating on numerous occasions that the game would require a double layered blu-ray disc (25gb+) making it unfeasable for DVD9 and any consoles using that format.
Dumbest (and lamest) thing I've ever seen in video game...

Amen to that. This game would have no problem coming out on the 360. The engine would port reasonably well. There's nothing that the PS3 does that the 360 can't do as well. Plus it would only need to come on 4/5 DVD9s. I know i'd much prefer to get up off my ass and switch a DVD (which takes at the most, a minute to do, and that's including opening the case and finding the relevant DVD) than have to wait 5/6 minutes waiting for the game to install itself... AGAIN... and AGAIN... and oh for fucks sake AGAIN. By the time i'll have finished this game I will have sat through nearly an hour of installation. Or watch Snake smoke more than my Grandma does in a day.AwesomeMonstar wrote:Yes... with 5 separate install sequences.
