I'm gonna be pretty daring here and narrow it down to one. Doom. In my mind this is the perfect game. Simple, fast, fun, and efficient. If you want to get into hardcore gaming this is where to start.

The point of the thread was about what I've got on my list to play, and that's something that I want to play. I don't care if it's total garbage, it's still a horror title and I still want to try it. Hell, there's quite a few titles I listed that people think are total crap, but I still want to give them a shot.

Yeah the reviews are crap, but have you ever trusted the critics?
I wouldn't say it's mindblowing amazing, but shit damn it, it is unique and strange enough that it really is a must play. Just to see what the heck the thing is all about. Especially the weirded out story that kinda just makes you go "oh, hrmmm, AHHH, wow, wha?, ok now, ooooh, what the heck?, oh god, noooooo... it what!?"
