I think Alison Haislip is legit. I listened to her on the Nerdist podcast and she doesn't seem fake at all. Morgan Webb is a real gamer too, though I'm not really a fan of hers. They really should have someone like Felicia Day host a G4 show. She's a true gamer.

One of the things I never liked about the original Gears (I never played the others) is that it seems like a game about a bunch of jocks with guns. They all look roided up, they talk about sports at one point in the game and the end credits have a crappy rap song playing over them.

Seth Green said once in an interview about his voice acting for Mass Effect that he doesn't play games, but has friends who do. They told him that Bioware was awesome and that he should accept the offer to voice one of the characters in Mass Effect

Not too famous in the USA, but Stephen Chow (star of Shoalin Soccer and Kung Fu Hustle) played video games. In a 1992 movie the "Perfect Family" there was a scene with him playing Street Fighter Alpha on SNES. I can tell he not a noob by the way he was playing.
