Question concerning buying a new PSP (firmware)
Re: Question concerning buying a new PSP (firmware)
Yep, I do it quite often. Just install the HEN (Homebrew ENabler) and install the PSNlover plugin. It'll fool PSN into thinking you are using the current official firmware, allowing you to do everything a regular PSP can.
If you aren't having a good time, why are you playing?

where I can get 5.50?AdamGomez1987 wrote:nuts..BoringSupreez wrote:If I remember correctly, the PSP I bought in March this year at Gamestop came with a firmware somewhere 6.0 or higher.I would love to get a 5.50
*edit* unless any of you know of a firmware that can do both PSP and PS1 ISOs
Re: Question concerning buying a new PSP (firmware)
It's rare to find a 5.50 in the wild. Just buy a PSP and downgrade it to the firmware you want.

Recent 6.xx CFW can do both PS1 and PSP isos.

What's better for PS1 games on a PSPgo? Virtuous Flame's CFW or TNHEN?
Re: Question concerning buying a new PSP (firmware)
Virtuous Flame, TNHEN is lacking in the popstation dept.
