JerryTerrifying's Dank Pit of Despair

Post by JerryTerrifying »

I've been wanting to make my own topic showing off all my junk as I lurk on this board constantly and LOVE seeing collections/setups. So here it is!

Image
Top Row:
PC Engine, JVC X'Eye and a way sweet Bomberman piggy bank. In the background there's a copy of the Limited Edition MGS Risk board game.

Next Row:
Ps2 fat, ps2 slim, Wii, Ps1

Next Row:
TG16 w/ Turbobooster, N64, Gamecube w/ GB Player

Next Row:
3DO, Saturn, Dreamcast

Image
Next Row:
Jaguar, SNES, Model 1 genesis/Model 1 Sega CD/32X

Next Row:
Neo Geo AES, Soft modded Xbox w/ 500gb HDD

Next Row:
Sega Master System, NES, NES toploader

Floor level:
Atari 7800, DVDrecorder, Memorex VIS, 99 cent VCR and a terrible rats nest of wires. I know it's hideous and terrible. I keep all the power squids turned off when not in use and there really isn't a way to keep them from looking terrible other than just keeping them hidden behind or under something.

Image
360 with HD DVD player and 60gb Ps3 with 120gb HDD. The 120gb HDd was cool in 2007 :(

Image
These are the newest shelves I built. Has a lot of run off from my first DVD/CD towers and larger cases like my AES/SCD/SAT games.

Image
all my controllers in a shoe organizer on the back of my door. My two AV switches that handle everything on the console tower except the Saturn which uses S video. One of the switches uses Y cables so it can handle 8 consoles at once. If there is a hit in the signal quality I don't notice it enough to outweigh the convenience of being able to just turn a system on and play without dicking around with cables.

There's another switch like that for all my component cables but it's not pictured.

These are my first two DVD/Cd towers.

I've got a little TV cart with my secondary TV. The TV is sitting on top of a Pioneer Laseractive with Sega PAC. The bottom has a softmodded Xbox w/200gb HDD, a Ps2 with Free McBoot and a 40gb HDD and the psone is also chipped. The Xbox is wired to my network so I can play LAN games if I have people over.

Image
This is a Zelda banner and I think it's cool. Also you can see the top corner of my payphone. It's an actual payphone.

Forgot to add these pics when I first posted.

Image
This is a little slide out Genesis branded case that I keep my loose SMS and Genesis carts in.

Image
This is a PS2 game case but I keep my much smaller Xbox collection in it.

For anyone that would like to see the complete games list you can go to the collection page of my website http://www.jerryterrifying.com

Here are some over all room shots. Yes, it's this cluttered.

Image
Most of my DVDs are up above the window on the shelf

I have the complete first series of that line of those transformers up on that shelf.

The windows are blacked out with poster board and tin foil because I worked third shift for years and can't sleep with any light in the room. :D

color me impressed!

you have nice things!

I like your masterpiece jet transformer! I cant remember its name!

my collection is posted here too, but yours has lots of nice games in their boxes. Especially your saturn games. I dont have that many boxed games, and theres not much space in anyones room when they are full of games.

good stuff man!

@flojocabron
The Masterpiece Transformer is Skywarp. :D I bought two when they were clearence at Wal Mart for $20 a piece and a few months ago sold the unopened one for $60 :D Wish I had bought more of them but it was the first time I tried "investing" in some toys and didn't want it to back fire on me.

Also on top of my secondary TV there's a Sega CDX but also like 10 of the Transformer Alternators, the car on top of the Wii is a TF Alternator Rumble, which are also really nice.

For anyone that wants to see a complete list of the games I own you can go to the collection page on my old crappy webstie http://www.jerryterrifying.com

And yeah all those Sega Cd and Saturn games have good hinges thanks to some craigslist deals and some case cannibalizing.

I can try to get an over all shot once I clean this dump up a bit more LOL. I had to move stuff to get some of these shots then move it back to get shots of stuff on the opposite wall. :P I'm a total slob.

I'm going to be making a video version of this for my youtube channel so when I get my mess under control I'll try to get an overall shot of the room and go into a bit more detail and embed that in this thread.

Yeah man I am in love with my Bomberman Piggy bank. got it for $20 at an anime con nice and in the box. The very next day the Hudson US facebook account put up a post about how those piggy banks were kind of rare and only available in UFO catchers. So I'm pretty happy I got it.

The Super Gameboy 2 was a lucky deal on ebay. $20 shipped from Japan. Now I can totally trade pokemons from my GB Player to my Super Gameboy 2. :P

Now I am even more jealous of the bank. I keep trying to justify a Super GB 2, but I have four gameboy players so I just cant. $20 is an excellent price though. Congrats

It does look a little cramped/crowded, but you have some really cool stuff and the set up is still neat to look at. Good job. :D
