You all are nuts. I'd fund Modern Warfare 4 and make bank. Then I'd buy up prototypes/unreleased versions of a ton of games that I couldn't play otherwise (all of which would probably be much cheaper in the long run than funding a brand new development project). I'd also build the sweetest home entertainment space known to ever exist in which to enjoy them all. Oh, and I'd buy a ton of arcade cabinets.

It's cool that Notch is planning to do this, but it is obviously a VERY risky financial proposition if that is at all part of his motivation. I don't think that there's one series in which I'd like to see a sequel that I'd take the financial risk on because, let's face it, in the games industry if a game is commercially viable it is auto-greenlit for sequels, and there's a good reason why Psychonauts 2 hasn't been done.

tldr: no, I'd spend my money on other things

Megaman X 10 - A big budget, 2D continuation of the series with high definition visuals. If possible, I would want to get Keiji Inafune as chief consultant on the project, assuming he'd be willing to be involved. Maybe I'd bribe him by also funding Mega Man Maverick Hunter X 2 for Playstation Vita

Mortal Kombat Shaolin Monks 2 and perhaps a 2D spinoff for release on PSN and Xbox Live Arcade. The spinoff would be a collaborative effort between the Shaolin Monks team and Ska Studios. James Silva knows all about making good, violent, 2D beat'em ups

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 - With both Raven Software and Vicarious Visions co-developing

Jade Empire 2 - I would like to see this potential series revisited with a much improved combat system

MDK 3 - Would like to see what Bioware would do if they made another MDK game

Klonoa 3 - A new, HD Klonoa with some new ideas would be awesome

MML 1 + 2 remake in L3 engine
Mother Collection. A M4 would ruin the beautiful masterpiece that is M3, but there should be an anthology that, unlike M1+2, would be glitch-free and retain the original music. Of course, it should also come to America.
Elemental Gimmick Gear 2. Let's see, there's only one month until Hudson gets shut down... hey, anyone know a place where I can hire 1000+ workers?
A new Rare platformer. DK64 was an epic collectathon, and the two Banjos also make it into my top 10 games of all time list.
