Any system, any era! Spill it out.
My personal favorite:
I'm also fond of the Golden Tee series, even though I was never good at it. Neo Turf masters is also pretty fun

I will second your favorite. I always liked how you could change all the names of the pros you were playing against.
The Mario golf games are good as well, not a true simulation, but definitly fun.

Golf on the NES was awesome, lol.
I played one of the Tiger Woods games several years back, maybe it was 2000 or something. It was pretty cool.

Couple of my favorites by generation:
Leaderboard Golf - Commodore 64. An absolute classic that routinely cracks top 25 lists for best Commodore games ever. I played this a ton growing up.
NES Open Golf - considered the best on the NES, although I'm going in with an open mind as I have all seven US NES golf releases and plan on putting a piece together
Mario Golf - Nintendo 64
Cyber Tiger - PlayStation (as an alternative to the EA golf games on the system which were also routinely played).

Haven't played a whole lot of Golf games that I don't suck at. But I can get into it on Wii Sports.

I always liked the Hot Shots series. The one for the PSP is fun! Looking forward to the Vita one.

And sadly only available on the Virtual Console still (outside of the SNK Arcade Classics Vol 1). I'd love to see a PSN release.
