This ever happened to you?...

You go into the bathroom... You're about to unzip to take a wizz... Then you realize your fly was already down! :x

It seems like I constantly have to remind my brother that he's flying low.

When I was in third grade... I went to the bathroom and came out. There were two other people in the hallway. They were giggling and I had the strange feeling they were laughing at me. Later, I realized I was unzipped. Now, I have no way of knowing if they were actually laughing at my fly being down. But ever since then, I constantly check my fly to make sure it's up.

 Time warner had a nice week long internet outage near us after some car totaled the main box on the corner.

 We're now AT&T DSL customers $20 a month FTW!

 The bastard who I'm supposed to be buying my new car from (1989 RT4WD Civic Wagon) keeps wanting to postpone until he can find a small pickup truck or something similar to replace it. Why put a fucking for sale sign on it if you have no actual intention of selling it! Not to mention the money he gets from me would definitely help in finding a nicer replacement.

 If he waits another day I'm going for a nice 1987 Accord Hatchback that's in my area instead.

He could very well be gauging your interest in the sale.

I'd tell the guy if he's willing to get the vehicle inspected you'll offer X amount of cash on the spot. There's only one better bargaining chip than cash, and you don't have it.

He knows I want it. He knew I wanted it a year ago when he tried to sell it for too much and he knows because I was the first one to call him this time around as well. He also knows I won't rice it up or put a fart cannon on it, only OEM or OEM equivalent parts ever touch my car. It's beat, it's dirty, and it needs body work. But, it runs and I can clean it up like new with all the spare parts I've accumulated from my current wagon over the last year.

Not to mention I'm paying just $50 under his sticker price (he won't budge, but then again it's already a damn good price) and he already removed the for-sale sign and took down his craigslist listing for me after I asked him via the phone on our first conversation. His only other car is a giant Silverado so he's worried about paying insane amounts for gas while waiting for another car or truck to show up. I was supposed to test drive it yesterday, but I'm stuck at work everyday all-day until 5 or 6 so he ended up being busy in the evening which mucked everything up again.

Well that does certainly suck. If anything moves forward with the purchase make sure you get every word out of his mouth in writing.

Frown: On the way home my wife and I witnessed a pretty horrific accident less than a mile from our home. The sirens are still wailing, and I'm 100% sure the woman I saw hanging out of a car window isn't going to make it.

More sirens are going off as I type. I bet dollars to donuts the accident is causing additional accidents.

 Well I was a stubborn git and stopped by his place today as it's on my way home. I hoped I wasn't pushing it asking for a test drive, but I wasn't going to leave without trying. Turned out he was actually more than OK with it and happily handed over the keys and let me trundle off away with it for a half-hour. Long story short it's rough-riding from stiff shocks and a tired suspension, loud (thinking bad manifold gasket or maybe the cat (please don't be the cat  )), the tachometer & speedo cable or motor for them needs to be replaced since it's really jumpy and the clutch seems like it's starting to go. But, it rides solid and the 4WD still works as evidenced by the large skid marks now on the lot of a local vacant shopping center as I impromptu drifted it over some rough gravel and mud.

Overall though I'd rate it a 3 out of 5 in terms of mechanical condition for an unmolested old Honda. Almost everything wrong with it is similar or identical to the problems I faced with my Civic when I first got it and are pretty easily fixed for cheap or affordable prices.

In the end he still wouldn't let it go, but shook on calling me back in the next day or so if he didn't find anything so I could come and buy it off of him as he knows I need it to let my wife have her car ASAP.
