Why does every single site that provides credit scores have to make it absurdly difficult to cancel your service before the free trial ends?

Because that's how they make money. If you want a free and accurate credit score without having to wait an hour, go to your bank and ask about taking out a loan. They'll get your score in a hurry.

Okay, I don't want to start any religious conversation I'm just posting a question that strangely I don't think I've ever been given an answer to. This pertains to Catholic beliefs, as I know how other religions view Jesus' ascension. I know after the third day of his crucifixion, he rose from the dead and met with Mary and a few chosen disciples, then ascended to heaven. How'd he do it? Put his fist in the air and take off like Superman? Did he leave his physical body behind? Why am I just now asking this question?

I suppose so, but geez it's such an underhanded practice. What's wrong with making money in a way that's not deceptive?

Oh well, turns out I don't even have enough credit information to get a score. Bah.

Trying to get into a new house, but with my credit being nonexistent it's kinda difficult.

Credit is a funny thing; you need to be shitty at it to get a good score. I'm a revolver, and although my score isn't perfect, I think it should be. I always pay off the total amount as soon as I get my bill, yet my wife racks up a little debt and has a better score.

If I were you I'd open up a few small accounts like a BestBuy or Macy's card. Build a little debt, pay more than the minimum balance (but leave a balance), and you'll have a good credit score in months.

Good advice. I always pay off my balance every month and I have a high score (800+). It's about how much credit you have and your credit worthiness (pay back on time, etc). You don't need a perfect score, just having something 700+ is all you need (max is 850).
