Cant find much on this other than this comment
Increasing the screen size of the Wonderswan Color by a half centimetre. This Wonderswan also has an improved reflective TFT LCD screen. The new screen has higher refresh rates which cuts down on the blur from past systems.

What is the price difference on them nowadays? The colour is fine, but the Crystal is pretty.

You can pick up a Swan Crystal for about $50 with $20 shipping from Japan. The Wonderswan color goes for about $25 and shipping costs. I found my Wonderswan and Wonderswan color both from a collector in the US and got them both for $40 shipped. Im still keeping my eyes open for a SwanCrystal for a decent price.

I found a comparison comment here:

You may want to PM the poster if you want to talk about the screens.

I have a Swan Crystal which is "as new" in box (with all the inserts), even comes with the original battery they came with I believe. I also have Gunpey Ex (almost "as new", boxed with inserts, but if I recall the box isn't 100% flawless).
If you want, I could part with it as long as I get back what I paid for the items*, and I can post if from the U.S. when I go to Philadelphia in July/August to keep the post costs down.

You may want instead to look for one that isn't in "collector" state.

*But I have to warn you it wasn't cheap as it's in overall good condition and complete, and the exchange rate will bite you as well as I got it in British Pounds.

Ivo.
