also if you bought a game used without cover art or manual, you can just go in there with a reciept and ask them for it for free weeks later.
also when they open games they don't care about the manuals at all, i was pissed when i saw SMT for ps2 with out the book NEW for $20, i bitched and they said i could get 10% off, i walked out.

That's true. I hate that. I try not to buy 360 games unsealed anymore, I buy most of my games brand new online. Or if I can't get it then i'll just buy it second hand. No way am I paying new prices for an unsealed copy…Doctor Fugue wrote:Off topic: I understand why they and other stores do this for security while letting people pick up the boxes and look at them, but this is why I will NEVER buy another game from EB. Half the time they are scratched and I want to buy new games SEALED; why would I want a game when the seal of authenticity is broken (I'm thinking of MS's seals on 360 games). Technically they shouldn't even be selling it as new anymore.Zer wrote:From what I've seen GameStop's policies tend to make no damn sense at all, so this wouldn't surprise me. Although, all of their game SHOULD be gutted, with the disc up front in a locked drawer. So, they probably just look at the drawer-o'-discs for inventory...
