Actually I think my mom bought an xbox carrying case for my brother from that seller. Had no problems with them. Sometimes shit just happens and people get pissed and don't look for a solution to their problem before saying shit that'll make the seller look bad.bmoc wrote:Yeah but read some of the neutral/negative comments. Clearly this person is selling a lot of shoddy products. Lots of items don't arrive at all. I wouldn't take the risk.BRIK wrote:Keep in mind that it is 98.8% to 226720 sales. Not really that bad at all.bmoc wrote:Also that guy's feedback is not so good.
Are These Official Genesis Controllers?

Re: Are These Official Genesis Controllers?
That certainly does happen. It happened to me once and turned me off using eBay altogether for a while. I ended up with a second original Xbox when they first came out and were hard to find (my Amazon preorder didn't ship on launch but the local Circuit City had some a few days later. Got home with the Xbox from Circuit City and went to cancel the pre-order only discover it had shipped). I put the extra one up on eBay and sold it very easily. A day or two after the auction ended, I sent the item off UPS.harper wrote:Sometimes shit just happens and people get pissed and don't look for a solution to their problem before saying shit that'll make the seller look bad.
Well it was just before Christmas and UPS was pretty swamped. It took longer than they expected for it to show up on their doorstep. I was traveling to my parents house and didn't have Internet access for a couple of days so I was unable to respond to their questions in a timely fashion. The person that bought it even got one of their friends to send me emails threaten legal action!
However, around one in fifty orders from this seller seems to have some kind of problem. I think those are great odds for playing the lottery but not for buying stuff off eBay. For what its worth, I am glad that your family had a positive experience buying from that seller.

It's a knockoff of the Japanese/Asian pad, so that's why the start button is blue.deathsled wrote:the blue start button indicates knock off. It should be the same color as the x,y,z buttons

Re: Are These Official Genesis Controllers?
Definitely fake, and thus reported.
Re: Are These Official Genesis Controllers?
Quoted for truth. I hate having to scroll through shit tons of knock-offs to find what I'm looking for after searching for it.ExedExes wrote:They look authentic enough, but I'm gonna go with cheap Hong Kong knockoffs myself. Ebay seems to have like 60% of their goods come from there these days ugh

I got one of these controllers with an, of all things, Atari 2600. The controller feels like it is made of the same plastic that is used in the cheap DVD cases that you get from the dollar shops (where you get 6 for $2).
The controller flexes in your hand, also the cable rotates in the case. I stripped it down for parts (the contacts are ok....just).
