Superb figther, very balanced.
In my opinion only SS II is better than first one in the series.
First fighter that became popular using weapons.
Back in time that was kinda revolutionary especially considering that Street Fighter Saga didn't have any.

yeh I have to say that since this came out on the VC last week, Ive played it quite a bit, for a good while I was reluctant to get into Samurai Shodown cos I really didnt like the art compared to The Last Blade, but I REALLY enjoy playing Samura Shodown with that Jubei guy - the dash move is brilliant fun, also little details like the barrels being cut in half are great - it is a brilliant game IMO, and along with Garou:MOTW and Fatal Fury Real Bout (either of them), I think it's one of the most 'accesible' of NeoGeo fighters.
