it did pass the smog check just last year, however i'm noticing my gas has been decreasing faster these days.CRTGAMER wrote:Wait a minute, does it still pass smog? If the light is only for the Catalytic Converter, I wouldn't worry too much about it unless performance or gas milage suffers. Could be the sensor.

A predicament, the price limit is for Smog Repairs. I think it only means if the car fails a Smog. Well at least its not a must fix immediate situation.sevin0seven wrote:it did pass the smog check just last year, however i'm noticing my gas has been decreasing faster these days.CRTGAMER wrote:Wait a minute, does it still pass smog? There's 216 in total, not counting the unreleased Flintstones white label.BoringSupreez wrote:I had no idea you were working towards that goal. How many games is it total? What would you estimate the overall cost was?elmagicochrisg wrote:PAL Dreamcast collection completed !!!
Got them all in mint / near mint condition with all cases complete. No broken hinges, no missing teeth, no cracks, no nothing. Anyone who knows PAL Dreamcast cases knows that's an achievement in itself... lol
Hard to say how much I paid in total. Some games were bought new when the console was still alive and kicking. Some were bought loose on eBay. Others were bought in lots. So really hard to say...
Next goal is getting all the US games that didn't get a PAL release, all the JPN games that didn't get a PAL or US release, and completing my PAL Mega CD collection...

It was 12 years in the making...harper wrote:Good job! That is an awesome achievement.
I know. Unfortunately, due to legal problems and a 390,000 euro fine I have stored everything I own in boxes in 4 of my best friends's places for the time being. It's either that, or see everything get confiscated by the Belgian state. So I say fuck 'em. Nobody touches my DC collection, and lives...OldSchool_Boy wrote:You type this amazing achievement but with no pics?!?! WHY THE TEASE?!?!
Once I go on a debt management plan they can't seize my stuff anymore and I can put everything back in my home. That'll take a few more months. So for the time being, I live in a near empty apartment. Just my bed, clothes, PC, and Dreamcast with a few games. I don't know where I would be without my friends...
No worries though, I'll post some pictures in a few months... ^^

Ha, I know what you mean. I've seen PAL imports before. The cases are nearly as bad as NTSC SCD/Saturn cases.elmagicochrisg wrote:There's 216 in total, not counting the unreleased Flintstones white label.BoringSupreez wrote:I had no idea you were working towards that goal. Owning the PAL import of Shenmue II, the missing teeth on disc 3 and 4 is a bit of a pain -- have to store the box vertically so the discs dont get too scratched upelmagicochrisg wrote:Got them all in mint / near mint condition with all cases complete. SO WHY ARE THEY SO DAMN EXPENSIVE ON EBAY? Near 5-10 year old portables!
And half of them are scratched up to all hell, with broken hinges and missing chargers, and yet people will still pay $20 and up for them?!
Stupid Nintendo name premium

Re: What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?
It's not just Nintendo. Try browsing Craigslist. I've seen plenty of PSPs listed in my area for $200+ and just about every one of them is noticeably scratched to hell and has a missing charger that, "can be bought for cheap." And heaven forbid they come with games because most of them are "slightly broken, but play fine." Whatever the hell that meansExedExes wrote:...And half of them are scratched up to all hell, with broken hinges and missing chargers, and yet people will still pay $20 and up for them?!
