Top 100 Video game female characters COMPLETE!

My chief earlier objection was that these lists tend to favor salacious comments about unrealistic female stereotypes that help alienate women from gaming culture. It was refreshing to see less of those on the final list than I had expected, though there are still plenty of physical impossibilities and a few comments that are clearly appreciating figure and little else. Still, I'd like to think that having that conversation early in the thread helped people to think about their choices a little bit and helped shape the final 100 into a better list than what is typically found in similar threads across the web.

I'd like to say here that my choices were unaffected by your comments. I don't pick my favorite characters based on sex appeal, and wasn't going to start with this list.

They weren't just my comments, iirc. I just thought the conversation was worth having given that our other "video game girls" thread requires a NSFW tag. I didn't mean to suggest that "Everyone would have posted naked pictures of Ivy" if it weren't for me.

The intent of that thread seemed, at least to me, to be about form and figure. A man is lying, gay, or asexual if finds no woman physically attractive. Nor is there anything wrong with appreciating the feminine figure. But this list wasn't about nor pertained to women's bodies, but about the women themselves. You'll quickly see a turn from appreciating beauty to appreciating how bad ass or emotionally compelling most of these women are.

Maybe you could start a parallel, non-female-exclusive version? It might be interesting to compare the two lists when they're done.

Also note, the title of this thread does not contain the word "sexy" where the one for video game males is asking to name the "sexiest". If I were a man, I would be very offended at how sexist that is. Not really, but you get the point.
