What Final Fantasy game would you like to see in HD?

I picked FF7, although I would want more than just a graphical upgrade. I'd like the random encounters changed to the style most modern RPGs use, where you see the monsters walking around in the game world and can choose to fight them or ignore the, as you please. Also, I'd like Cloud and co. to move around on the world map more quickly. Until you get the airship, it can take an age to get anywhere.

There's only one correct answer. It's the game fans have begged for a remake for like forever now. FF 7. None of the others need remakes. Hell, FF X doesn't even need it

I'd love to see a FFXII remake, simply because I never played it and I don't have a PS2 at the moment.

Which it seems like they've been promising it for a while. Where did FFX come from, seems a little out of the blue. I would agree FF7 would be a good choice.

It seems cruel. There have been a bunch of games related to FF 7 released like Crisis Core. I think there was even once a tech demo showing what an FF 7 remake could look like. They KNOW the fans want it

Plus, FF 7 is more historically significant I would say than the other games listed. It just makes sense if you're going to remake an FF game, that's the one. FF 7 make FF huge and made rpgs huge. It sold Playstations. It's just frankly more important than every other FF game. I didn't say better, but definitely more historically significant

They just made 13-2, which seems to be pretty well accepted. I'm assuming they're saving a 7 remake for when they screw up as badly as they did on 14, that way they can save themselves from bankruptcy

FF7-I wouldnt mind,but whatever.

FF8-Tends to be very charming to me, so I would highly recommend this.(Make Triad online capable)

FF9-If anything deserves it most,only because its not so prevelant and could use some justice..Story add ons and tweaks with a candy coat...Maybe even a collectors Edition.

FF10 and up-no need really.

Yes this is a good distinction to make and one I would be ok with them doing on FFXII, I think on FF7 it would have to be a remake at this point.

I think that of the options listed, an HD upgrade would be best suited for FFVII. That game has aged graphically far worse than every other option, it really does look bad now.
