UPDATE: ADDED SECTION Z TO LIST. CAPCOM SHMUP FORGETFULNESS

I wouldn't worry about it, as I think we're gonna have the same outcome for Takumi as we had for Treasure -- they don't have much either.

Are we counting 1944: The Loop Master?
It was voted and contested on for Raizing. Too bad, cuz I really like that.

+1 1944: The Loop Master

No to Savage Bees.
That's fine, that's how ya feel

Might want to swap out Loop Master for Savage Bees :)

The Wiki states it was developed by Raizing, so no. Can you swap your +1 out quick mjmjr25?
Done. Loop Master is considered a part of the WWII capcom quintet, was produced and marketed by capcom, but yes, programming by Raizing. I didn't realize we had lumped it w/in the Raizing group.

It says "SUPPORTED BY" Eighting/Raizing on the title screen. Unless you did a bit more research it's safe to think Capcom did it. No issue.

I should have been caned for the Cannon Spike incident, and for forgetting Section Z

Then again, Capcom DID develop a Zelda game or two for Nintendo, as I found out researching the shmups they made. Would have not known that either.

We are shoot em up player. We whip, cane, and maim any who don't know all about our mighty genre

Kidding, but 1944 is like Gradius V. It was outsourced, and all development was done by Raizing, like Treasure did for Konami.

Too bad, as I really like 1944, more than any of capcom's shooters.

I missed the offer for write-ups, but Id love to do that!

Axelay is great. Similar to 1944, this is my favorite Konami shooter, and was developed by the team that would become Treasure (They were still Konami, so no lashings this time)

I really love the uniqye attacks the bosses have for you. I love that spider web that slows you, among many other design ideas that I hadnt seen before, and havent seen since.

Oddly, Ive only played this game maybe 4 times, and that was a year ago, so Im looking forward to getting into this.

... And then a scoring game next month :) :)

Awesome. That's what this is all about. Next to ExedExes, Axelay is one I can get all sorts of crazy about. That's why I felt a need for a formal write up in it. Check out what months I didn't take and see if you would like to do a write up :)

For me, seeing Dragon Blaze, Radiant Silvergun, and X-Multiply will be a new experience. For many others, Truxton was new. So if we can raise awareness with new or hardly remembered shmups, then this community as a whole did their job :)

Uggh. I'm struggling getting into this game.

Not sure if something is off - but I lose minimum 2 lives on stage 2 when the board speeds you through those air-cliffs. How do you not crash into them? The board is forcing me into them - i've tried a few different tactics, speeding up w/the board, pulling back, etc.

Do I have to select a certain pattern?

Anyways, my crap score:
39,650 - SNES

Back to Garegga for a bit.

The pseudo 3D stuff combined with environmental damage is throwing me off as well. I don't like the angles presented in the game so far, so I don't know how invested I will be able to get.
