Alright guys so Axelay month is now in full swing, I've updated the OP and all that. Have at it. I have a copy on the way so I'll join once it gets here.

On a side note, ExedExes proposed that we have a little write-up for each game like TR does. I thought it was a pretty good idea, so you can check out his Axelay background info in the OP if you'd like, I found it quite informative being that I've yet to play this game. So is anyone else willing to contribute write-ups? Exed has called Compile/ZxZ, Raizing/Great Mahou Daisakusen, and Irem and Capcom months. I figure I'll do Metal Black for Taito month since it's a personal favorite of mine. So that leaves Psikyo/Dragon Blaze, Treasure/Radiant Silvergun, and Takumi. Any takers?

I'm still looking for some kind of scoring guide....

I haven't actually played this despite having the cart for some time, so I'm excited. I am debating if I want to use my SNES Advantage stick our just the regular control pad, so I'll probably try both.

Also, it should note that a loose cart can be had for $7-12, the $20-25 boxed price may scare off a few who would otherwise try to source a cart.

I'm not sure how modes affect difficulty in this one, perhaps Exed knows.

Hmm the cheapest cart only copy I can find is on eBay for 15.65 shipping included BIN, I'll adjust the price to 15-20. Cheapest Amazon copy is about $18 at the moment.

Ah, alright. Looks like I'll be buying a copy or using a SNES emulator. Just not sure what the best one is.

I'm jus reluctant on the physical copy because composite on my LCD looks pretty bad. Perhaps I'll get an RCA/s-video to VGA converter and use it with my CRT monitor.

Should be a fun month!
