Even though Jobs announced the $200 price, they're not quoting prices here and that worries me a bit. Over 24 months what do they think they can get a way with charging?
Jobs said that the iPhone would $200 everywhere, it's been confirmed by O2 that it is £99 here, so it will be whatever the equivalent is in ¥.
I'm pretty sure it will be but the thing that's disconcerning is that the only carrier of the phone, Softbank, all there employees are "clueless" until the actual sales date of the phone which makes the decision all the more frustrating.
