I think that it's incredibly narrow minded of you to think that all these entries are purely about how these characters look. I know that for a lot of the fighting games, ridiculous exaggerated as the characters appearances might be, the reason I like a lot of these female characters is for their fighting style - they tend to be quick, which is what I prefer.dsheinem wrote:

Suffice to say I feel that threads like this perpetuate a negative stereotype of male gamers as a bunch of horndogs that objectify and ogle those most physically/emotionally exaggerated and sexualized female characters, and that these practices alienate women from or marginalize them within our hobby. So no, I don't think the creation of threads like this are harmless "fun," I think they are contradictory to the kind of welcoming and inclusive community that I think gaming culture should be.
