Surprised you touched this thread bruno, I was trying to avoid it but oh well.
I'm not touching this. Kind of like how NGII Sigma's release felt to me, "Okay, we fixed the game now will you try it again?" no I won't. I skipped FFX-2, so I will easily skip this. I just don't care anymore, about Final Fantasy or Square Enix. The best Final Fantasy I played last year was probably FFVA, and replaying IV.
Hope you guys are ready for yearly annual Final Fantasy releases! I'm lazy now but SE brought that up sometime later last year, just google it if you need articles. I guess they don't want CoD to pass them in numbers!
Just pissing on their own grave, I just kind of laugh now. Think I vented enough about them last year, lol. *shrugs*

Re: Final Fantasy XIII-2
I enjoyed the demo overall and I need a new JRPG which seems like it's been a long time since I last played one
This will help while I wait for Tales of Graces, Xenoblade, and hopefully Last Story if it ever comes to US

Re: Final Fantasy XIII-2
Square Enix is terrible. FF XIII was bad and this game will be too. X-2 was fanservice bullshit and didn't need to exist. The only decent FF games these days are the spin-offs like 4 Heroes of Light. FF VI was the best game of all time.
That is all.
That is all.

Re: Final Fantasy XIII-2
Tried out the demo......really Square? People call your games shallow, they accuse FF13 of trying to be a modern Western corridor shooter, and you reply by adding QUICK TIME EVENTS?
also after the battle I was too bored to explore.....sorry FF13-2, but I found a JRPG which treats me with respect, not rehashes and steals stuff from others.

I haven't really played a FF game since FF6. Well I played FF7 but never finished it.

Re: Final Fantasy XIII-2
I played the demo and it looks like it has some interesting ideas, but I'm not nearly as interested. It seems way too easy, watered-down and pretty boring. I mean, real Final Fantasies are way too easy and slightly watered down, but they're never boring and still have coherent mechanics. FFXIII-2 works on a functional level but the design seems to be a mess.

WTB FFVI-2 and FFIX-2...
Today i went out and thought about picking up FFXIII and just maybe... i would enjoy it, but it just doesnt have what Final Fantasy games used to be about.
As soon as i figure that out, ill let you know, until that times comes i refer you to FF VI and IX.

Re: Final Fantasy XIII-2
Anyone know if a remake of FFVI for the 3DS is really in the works?
Anyway, I saw FF XIII-2 at Best Buy last night. Artwork looks nice enough I guess. Skipped over it and picked up Okamiden instead.
