It'll be at my house when I get home, but so will XIII-2. Maybe some SC5 this weekend.

Just played it at a friends house for an hour and a half, and I gotta say I like everything about it better than SC4. Everything just feels better to me, and while some of my usual characters changed a bit, once I got used to it, everything felt fine.

So far, Xiba is looking to be my favorite character, fighting and personality wise. Actually, prefer a lot of the new characters that replaced the old ones, which I found surprising.

Some characters were actually very different. Even though Ivy has the same normals, her moveset is actually very different from SC4. I didn't wanna spend too much time looking at the movelist, so everytime I played as her, I couldn't change my sword's style.

And did you get the chance to try online yet? I hope the netcode for this is better than SC4's.

The netcode seemed identical.. But I'm so used to KoF I'll deal with anything atm..

Liking this game a lot so far. Not a huge fan of tiered unlockables for character creation but that's a pretty minor complaint.

So far Leixia (or her fighting style, at least) has been my favorite. Ivy is too weird. Really missing Cassandra and Sophitia...neither of their 'replacements' feel right. I'm hoping that maybe those two are hidden characters or something.

But yeah, this is a pretty good game! Probably my favorite since Soul Calibur 2 for the gamecube.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?
