Ha ha, yeah, seems a bit cowardly on my part. It just took me forever to get st2 down.

Ill participate from the beginning next month. I think all the voting distracted me from truxton.

EDIT: So, I think Dave should still get the award, since I kinda snuck this one in, and I am certain he would have beat it if he had any competition earlier in the month. Maybe we could have the last day of each month be for trying out other games by that Dev, and just talking about what we are trying, so kinda bring in the next month?

I dunno, just an idea, I'm pretty happy with how this is working either way.

ExedExes thoughts on Truxton
Way to start our TR Shmup with a great classic shooter that came from a respected shmup development team. Playing through both versions have got me to do even better in the other shmups I enjoy. It helped me to develop strategies and to anticipate enemy patterns a little better. Dare I say that even Truxton had a bit of a HITBOX? It sure set the standard for many more shmups ahead. I had a lot of fun with this.

And now, onward to a true personal favorite of mine -- Axelay! Got the SNES out, cleaned up, hooked in and ready for some nice scoring here!
