Space Channel 5
Dear God, both games are so amazing. Anyone want to share memories of them? Or maybe some way to beat Evila without losing your mind?
Additionally, this... thing...
Is so funny.

I liked the visuals in this game. but I sucked at it.
Theres a code for the dreamcast where the game would play itself.
I did that, and just watched.

As in a cheat code, or a GS code?

You should! It's sort of like Simon Says mixed with Dance Dance Revolution, but with some Heavy Rain as well, and The Jetsons thrown in for good measure.

there was a cheat code that you would play in game.GameMasterGuy wrote:As in a cheat code, or a GS code?
Once the game starts you then put the sequence of buttons.
Ula-la misses some of her moves, but then the game plays automaticaly.
It was so long ago, that I no longer remember the code.
I'm sure that it's somewhere on the internet.

Yeah, I just found it. Apparently you can't save if you use it. I still might try it out to reach the secret room in the bonus version of the first level.

One of my favorite Dreamcast games. Still probably the most fun rhythm game I've ever played. Guitaroo Man comes close, but they made it too hard. I preferred balanced difficulty in my games. Too easy or too annoying hard and you lose points with me. Space Channel 5 had that perfect balance. Guitaroo Man was still really good though

Meh, Elite Beat Agents > Gitaroo Man. SC5 is certainly better than either, though.

Re: Space Channel 5
There was an advertisement for this on the back of my Sonic Adventure manual (if I remember correctly), and I remember deliberately avoiding it because I thought it looked stupid.
Then, finally, one of my best friends in college coerced me to play it as entertainment while I was suffering from the flu. I was an instant superfan. After I recovered I was constantly humming the music as I walked around campus, wishing I'd been savvy to it sooner.
