Seriously, the prices for this game have never been higher. The demand is far outstripping the supply. A VGA 85+ Earthbound is a once in a lifetime acquisition.

I personally don't see the need to acquire it, but it might be a good investment. The game in all forms will probably double in value a year from now.

I think that of the press X with some sporadic magic RPGs I have played this is the best. Which is kind of a faint praise if you know how poorly I think of JRPGs now but it's solid and fun to play.

I won't lie, if I ever come across an Earthbound cart in the wild it will take a lot of effort to not just turn around and sell it an inflated price.

How much is it to get a game stupidly slabbed like that? Why not buy a mint CIB copy for 5 or 6 hundo, slab it to make sure nobody can ever play or enjoy it again, and then sell it for 5 grand to buy a car?
