What RPG are you playing right now?

Lunar is a series I have , as an RPG fan, criminally never played. Which version is the best? I have the 3 main U.S. releases. I was thinking of going authentic with the Sega CD release, but I have heard many think the PS1 is the better version, with some extra stuff.

Weirdly enough I played a lot of Lunar 2 years ago, borrowed it from a friend. Since then though I myself have been on the fence about where to start again... I did play a bit of the SegaCD version and it seems pretty cool, radically different (visually) from the PSX remake. In a way they both kind of sound worth playing to me, but I know multiple people have told me...

PSX for the first game, fixed a lot of stuff and just feels more complete.
Sega CD for the second game, apparently has a better magic system or something.

I've played both the Sega CD and PS1 versions of each Lunar. I easily prefer the PS1 versions. But you can't go wrong either way.

On another note. THE GODDAMN ARMS IN ETERNAL SONATA.

Do you guys prefer it over the second game? I tend to hear that a lot... Galleon being a bigger character, and I think I remember my friends always said the first game was more serious. Not sure though...

Damn, yeah I really need to pay it myself, and go back to Lunar 2 so I can finish it. I remember clearing the big "towers" portion of the game if anyone remembers that, so I think I did get pretty far.

i know i posted this pic on the finds of the day thread but i thought it be fitting to share it here as it is now the rpg i shall be playing starting with lunar 2 as i have never played it but i have played lunar 1 on the sega cd and the psp. i believe the sega cd and the ps1 versions have the same voice acting. not bad for $35 each

Not the same. Maybe the same voice actors? i'm not sure. But certainly not the same voice acting.

im pretty sure at least nall is the same but not the same in the psp version. also i have a question im assuming this sleeve is supposed to be empty for me to put a demo from another game in it correct?
